Laura Helmuth
Laura and Tom acquired the two houses on Oak, down the street from the Nelson-Atkins Art Gallery, in 2013. They took the venture with interest in improving the property along with the neighborhood and community.
She has thoroughly enjoyed her experience decorating each space and getting to know each guest to better accommodate their needs since she started promoting the furnished properties for short-term and long-term rental in 2016.
Tom Miller
Tom graduated with a degree in Sculpture from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1980. Following graduation, he and his brother began custom residential construction and design work under Miller Design & Build. He now prides himself in his ability to aid Laura in the design of each space and to maintain each property. Laura calls him the “Fix-It Guy”.
